What are Lightning Lanes?

A Lightning Lane is a paid, premium queue that lets you bypass the standard Standby line at select attractions, significantly reducing your wait time. You gain access to this line by purchasing one of three options:

• Lightning Lane Multi Pass

• Lightning Lane Single Pass

• Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Lightning Lane Multi Pass

This service is your key to accessing the Lightning Lanes for a variety of attractions across a single park.

• What it is Access to Lightning Lanes at over 50 select attractions (not including Single Pass rides).

• Cost Fluctuates by park and date, typically $15 - $39 per person, per day.

• Pre-Trip Booking You can pre-book your first 3 Lightning Lane selections for the day! (Selections must be in the same park.)

• Booking Window

• Disney Resort Guests: 7 days before your check-in date (for your entire stay, up to 14 days).

• Other Guests (with dated tickets) 3 days before your first valid ticket date.

• Day-Of Booking After you use your first Multi Pass selection, you can book an additional one immediately. You can hold up to 3 Multi Pass selections at any time.

• Tiers Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios have a Tier 1 & Tier 2 system for your initial 3 pre-bookings (choose 1 from Tier 1, and 2 from Tier 2, or all 3 from Tier 2). Animal Kingdom has NO tiers for pre-booking. The tiered system is removed once you've scanned into your first ride of the day.

Multi Pass Advance Booking Timeline

• Pre-Purchase & Reserve Window (7:00 AM ET)

• Disney Hotel & Select Hotel Guests 7 days before your first day of stay (for length of stay, up to 14 days)

• Off-Property Guests (Dated Tickets) 3 days before your first valid ticket date All Other Guests (e.g., Annual Passholders) 3 days prior to each park day.

Lightning Lane Single Pass

Formerly known as Individual Lightning Lanes, this is your pay-per-ride option for the parks' most in-demand attractions.

• What it is A separate, a-la-carte purchase for Lightning Lane access to a single, top-tier attraction.

• Limit You can purchase a maximum of 2 Single Passes per day (for two different attractions).

• Cost Fluctuates by demand. Typically ranges around $10 - $25 per person, per ride.

• Booking Window Same as Multi Pass: 7 days in advance for Disney Resort Guests, and 3 days in advance for all other guests.

• Magic Kingdom Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run $10-$22

• EPCOT Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind $14-$18

Lightning Lane Premier Pass (The All-Access VIP)

This is the newest, all-inclusive, and most flexible option for a true VIP experience.

• What it is A single purchase that gives you one-time entry to EVERY available Lightning Lane attraction in one park for the day—including all Multi Pass and Single Pass attractions—with no need to book in advance.

• Best For Guests who want maximum rides with minimal hassle or app management.

• Cost Varies significantly by park and date, ranging from $129 - $449 plus tax.

• Booking Window Same as Multi Pass and Single Pass: 7 days in advance for Disney Resort Guests, and 3 days in advance for all other guests.

• Park Coverage Single Park Only—no park hopping is included with this pass.

• ParkPremier Pass Price Range (per person, plus tax)

Park Hopping with Lightning Lanes

Your initial three Multi Pass selections must be for a single park.

• After you scan into your FIRST Multi Pass ride of the day, you gain the flexibility to book your next Multi Pass selections in a different park (assuming you have the Park Hopper option on your ticket).

• Single Pass can be purchased for two different parks, but you must have a Park Hopper ticket to use both.
