Christmas Time at Disney World
It’s always magical but this time of year is even more spectacular!
Are you ready to find out why the week after Thanksgiving is the absolute best time to visit Walt Disney World? Trust us, this golden week is our festive gem, and we're about to let you in on this not-so-secret secret!
When the Magic Happens
Imagine stepping into a world where the festive spirit is just beginning to sparkle, away from the peak crowd rumble of the winter holidays. That's the wonder of visiting Disney right after Turkey Day!
Time Travel to a Quieter Disney
We’ve danced through the Disney gates during this week more times than Mickey has had hot chocolates! Since 2007, this has been our go-to week, and even expanding our stay into the first weeks of December last year proved just as magical, with a delightful dip in crowds before the holiday peak hits.
Upgraded Stay, Lesser Playmates
Last year, we cozied up in a snazzy refurbished room at All Star Sports — super impressive and absolutely wallet-friendly! The vibe? Peaceful. From breezy bus rides to quiet cafés, it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
See the Complete Christmas Shebang
From the merry beginning to Veterans’ Week into December, this window is what we call the ‘complete Christmas’ at Disney. Every nook and cranny is bursting with holiday cheer, yet the massive holiday crowds are still packing and planning.
Crowds? What Crowds?
Even though Disneyland gets busier by the year, this special week stays surprisingly serene. So, if you want to revel in the holiday magic without the festive frenzy, you know when to go!
Basically, if Disney is on your holiday wishlist for next year, think no further than right after those Thanksgiving leftovers. Let’s grab our park passes and meet under the mistletoe for the most magical Disney Christmas yet!
